The Valhalla 5880A Dielectric Analyzer combines the four basic dielectric tests into one compact, easy to use, feature-rich instrument.
The 5880A's standard multi-function capabilities include - AC and DC Dielectric strength testing, Insulation Resistance (IR) measurement to 100 gigaohms and Earth Continuity measurement down to 10 milliohms.
All of these tests can be run in either manual or automatic mode, as well as, via remote control using the optional IEEE-488.

Valhalla has taken advantage of advanced microprocessor and ASIC technologies in order to reduce the size and complexity of the 5880A while increasing reliability and functionality when compared to traditional hi-pot testers.

Built-in test procedure storage and edit capability increases test throughput and reduces test development time.
